The Christian Walk: Interview with Michael Steddum

Michael Steddum was raised in California and joined the US Navy at the age of eighteen to travel the world on Uncle Sam’s dime. Michael’s Navy career started out as a cook and his enlistment ended as a Draftsman Illustrator.

After the Navy, Michael found work in a gallery that specialized in wildlife and western art and he worked there for many years, eventually becoming the gallery manager in Edina, Minnesota before leaving the gallery to pursue a career as a full-time artist. These days Michael mostly paints pet portraits, dogs and still life.

Michael is a graduate of Missouri Southern State University and currently resides in Southern Missouri with his wife Kristine. In this interview Michael talks about his life and how he came to know God.
